Publishing with the Ondo Journals
The Ondo Journals welcome high-quality, original manuscripts that advance knowledge, research, and innovation across diverse fields of science, education, technology, arts, business, and sustainable development.
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process and must meet the ethical and editorial standards set by the Nigerian Publishing House (NPH).
1. Manuscript Categories
We accept the following types of papers:
Original Research Articles – full-length empirical or theoretical studies.
Review Papers – critical evaluations of recent research or emerging trends.
Short Communications – concise reports of significant findings.
Case Studies / Applied Research – practical examples or field-based experiences.
Book Reviews / Commentaries – relevant reviews or perspectives on published works.
2. Submission Process
Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission portal (or emailed to the relevant editor).
Authors must ensure that submissions are original and have not been published or submitted elsewhere.
All files should be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format, double-spaced, and in 12-point Times New Roman.
Each manuscript must include:
Title page (title, author(s), affiliation(s), ORCID, and contact email)
Abstract (150–250 words)
Keywords (3–6)
Main text (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)
References (APA 7th edition format)
3. Review and Decision Timeline
Initial editorial screening: within 5 days of submission.
Double-blind peer review: 2–3 weeks.
Editorial decision and revision request: within 30 days of submission.
Final acceptance and online publication: within 4–6 weeks, depending on revisions.

4. Formatting and Style
Use APA 7th Edition referencing.
All tables and figures should be clearly numbered and titled.
Quotations, data, and citations must be properly acknowledged.
Acronyms should be spelled out at first use.
Manuscripts should not exceed 7,000 words (including references).
5. Ethical Standards
All authors must adhere to ethical publication practices in line with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
Plagiarism, data manipulation, or duplicate submissions are strictly prohibited.
Authors must declare any conflicts of interest and funding sources.
Research involving humans or animals must include evidence of ethical approval.
6. Open Access Policy
All Ondo Journals are open-access publications.
Articles are freely available online immediately upon publication, ensuring global accessibility and visibility.
7. Article Processing Charges (APC)
The Ondo Journals operate on a transparent APC model to support editorial and publishing costs.
Standard publication fee: ₦40,000 (or $40 USD).
Processing fee: ₦7,000
8. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing unrestricted use and citation of the work with proper acknowledgment.
